Team TriNics members Michael, Jojo, Gian, Renz, Melvin, Paul, Nico, together with Grace and Erlie checking out the waters before race day

August 19 was the big day for Michael, Jojo, Gian, Renz, Melvin, Paul, and Nico as they join Swim Junkie's Caramoan 10K Marathon Swim. It was their first marathon swim and longest ever that is why they spent the last few months building up endurance and mileage to tackle to unpredictable open waters of Caramoan.

The weather was cooperative on race day.

Unlike most swimmers, the guys opted to drive from Manila to Bicol instead of flying- a decision that later proved to be beneficial given the NAIA place incident that saw flights being delayed and cancelled.

More than the awesome feeling of finishing, the experience served as a bonding opportunity for the boys to make memories that will last a lifetime and probably be passed down a generation or two. Isn't that the way to live life?

Congratulations guys!
